In december 2001 I bought my first GPS. This was the Garmin GPS V. My main reason was fun, then travelling. Fun includes Geocaching ofcourse! =8-) Geocaching is sort of a GPS treasurehunt, you can read more about it here. My experiences with the GPS-V are here. In december 2001 kocht ik mijn eerste GPS. Dat was een Garmin GPS V. Mijn hoofdreden was plezier hebben en daarna reizen. En plezier is natuurlijk ook Geocaching! =8-) Geocachen is een soort van GPS schatzoeken, leer er hier meer over. Mijn ervaringen met de GPS-V staan hier. Hidden caches/verborgen caches

Team Elsinga likes to hide caches on the more beautifull spots in our own surroundings. This makes cache maintenance a lot easier. =8-)

2002/11/27 Pure Fiction, a book-cache, for which you have to anwer questions about writers of fiction and their books.
2002/11/24 Nijntje-cache, a cache specially for children, dedicated to Nijntje (Miffy).
2002/05/19 Tjongervallei-cache, a very difficult multi-cache where you have to calculate the cache coördinates from the intersection of 3 circles.

Found caches/gevonden caches

Team Elsinga like to geocache as a means to get out into nature with the whole family. This also means that we are not likely to find more caches than anyone else, since we only geocache when we have the time and the weather is nice. =8-)
